Belle Amie
Belle Amie is a 3-member girl band made up Rebecca Creighton, 21, an unemployed hairdresser from Tallaght, Esther Campbell, 17, a student from London and Sophia Wardman, 23, a student from Scarborough, North Yorkshire and former member Geneva Lane.
Geneva left the group shortly after the X Factor. Wardman was a contestant on reality TV show Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands 2007. They all applied as solo candidates to the competition, but the judges, after a suggestion by Cowell, put them in a band qualifying for the Groups category in the 2010 edition of The X Factor in London, UK. For their qualifying song, their first ever together, they sang an acoustic version of George Michael's song "Faith". Belle Amie lasted until week 4 when they were eliminated after singing "Breakaway", losing out to Katie Waissel.
The girls are continuing without Lane and their new song "Girls Up" will be released 29 April 2011 via their website. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
